Articulated Hare’s Ear Fly Tying Video Instructions

Articulated Hare's Ear Fly tyingThe Articulated Hare’s Ear is a hinged (also known as articulated) version of the classic Hare’s Ear.  The Articulated Hare’s Ear wiggles and moves in the water, which makes it a great fly for stillwater.  The Hare’s Ear imitates a variety of insects.  In stillwater, it more specifically imitates a Callibaetis Nymph or Damsel Fly Nymph.  Either way, it is a great fly here in the West.  Especially at Spinney Reservoir!!  Visit Herman’s 3D Fly Library – Fly Tying
