Barr’s Vis-A-Dun Mayfly Fly Tying Video Instructions

Barr's Vis-A-Dun Fly Tying DirectionsThe Barr’s Vis-A-Dun is a more lifelike take and easier to see variation of the Thorax Mayfly.  Barr’s Vis-A-Dun is a pattern developed by fly tying innovator John Barr.  The Barr’s Vis-A-Dun is most often tied in Olive or Light Yellow, imitating a Blue Winged Olive or PMD.  Although, the Barr’s Vis-A-Dun can be tied in other colors, in order to imitate other types of mayflies.  The Barr’s Vis-A-Dun is a fairly simple and straight forward dry fly to tie, give it a try!
