CDC Caddis Dry Fly Tying Instructions
The CDC Caddis is a great slow water caddis pattern. The CDC Caddis is less bushy and bulky than the traditional Elk Hair Caddis. The CDC Caddis can be tied very small, in order to imitate the tiny black caddis that hatch on many western rivers. The CDC wing gives the fly some natural floatant properties. The CDC wing must be treated with a powder floatant and not a silicone gel.
