Chironocones Chironomid Fly Tying Video Instructions
The Chironocones is a great lake and stillwater chironomid pattern. The Chironocones is meant to be fished under an indicator, deep and near the lake’s bottom. The Chironocones can be twitches and slightly lifted once in awhile to give it a bit of movement. The Chironocones can be tied in Red, Black, Olive, Clear, Brown and Orange. The White Bead on the Chironocones imitates the gills or air bubble near the head of the Chironomid Pupa. Give it a try on your favorite trout stillwater!
