Hula Damsel Fly Tying Video Instructions and Directions

Hula Damsel Fly Tying Video InstructionsThe Hula Damsel is a great articulated damsel pattern developed by realistic fly tier, Herman DeGala of Fly Tying Clips.  The Hula Damsel has a “wiggle” tail that gives the fly realistic action and profile.  Everything about this fly is “buggy”.  The CDC pulses and breathes as the fly is stripped and it wiggles!  The Hula Damsel is one of my favorite patterns for Spinney Reservoir, where damsel nymphs are a huge part in the trout’s diet.  Give one a try, they are a lot of fun to tie!
