Kwan Fly Tying Instructions and RecipeThe Kwan is an incredible saltwater fly pattern.  The Kwan is a all purpose flats and saltwater shrimp imitation.  The Kwan is effective on a wide range of saltwater flats species, such as Redfish, Bonefish, Tarpon, Permit, Sheepshead, Seatrout and just about anything that will eat a shrimp!  The Kwan can be tied in so many colors, but the most popular are the Tan/Brown and Tan/Brown/Chartreuse variations.  The Kwan can be tied with Beadchain or Lead Eyes, depending on the depth of the water being fished.  The Kwan can be tied in any size, but #02-06 are the most common.
