Little Yellow Sloan Fly Tying Video Instructions

Little Yellow Sloan Stonefly Fly TyingThe Little Yellow Sloan is a great small stonefly nymph imitation.  The Little Yellow Sloan is sparsely tied (compared to most stonefly nymphs) and really works great on picky trout.  The Little Yellow Sloan can be tied in the lighter, yellow color or in the darker black color.  The Natural Yellow color is my favorite, but the black is a deadly color none the less.  Add a tungsten bead to the Little Yellow Sloan if you plan to be fishing fast and deep water.  The Little Yellow Sloan is best fished near the bottom on a standard nymph rig.  Give one a try!
