Mike Decoteau’s Roe Jimmy Streamer Fly Tying Video Instructions
The Joe Jimmy Streamer was developed by Mike Decoteau (of Steelhead Alley Fly Tying) and is a great Sculpin imitation for Steelhead, Trout and Smallmouth Bass. The Roe Jimmy can be tied in many different color variations, although the olive/sculpin olive is the most popular. The Black/Purple is also a great steelhead and bass color. The Roe Jimmy is a fairly basic and extremely effective streamer pattern. The Roe Jimmy can be fished on a floating line, sink tip or even a full sinking line (depending on the situation). Give it a try! You will not be disappointed!
Don’t want to tie the Roe Jimmy, but still want a few? Give Mike a shout at firstname.lastname@example.org!
