Rusher's Steelhead Nymph Fly TyingThe Rusher’s Steelhead Nymph is a great steelhead nymph in the Great Lakes Region as well as in the Northwest.  The Rusher’s Steelhead Nymph is a flashy stonefly nymph and is deadly in stained or off color water conditions.  Even though the Rusher’s Steelhead Nymph is classified as a fly for steelhead, it also makes a great trout fly in the west!  Especially during spring time runoff.  The Rusher’s Steelhead Nymph can be tied in many color combos.  Black/Red, Black/Chartreuse, Pink/Purple, Purple/Blue are some of the more popular colors.
