Iwan-E-Dun Thorax

The Iwan-E-Dun Thorax is a small extended body mayfly dry developed by Phil Iwane. The thorax version of the Iwan-E-Dun is nearly identical. Except for the fact that it is tied “thorax” style instead of with a parachute post. The Iwan-E Dun Thorax utilizes a small, but thick piece of mono for the extended body. Allowing the tier to use a very small, short shank hook. The Iwan-E-Dun can be tied in many color variations and is usually tied very small (#16-20). A fun fly to tie, and relatively easy to master once you learn all the tricks!!!
