Beadhead Prince Nymph

The Beadhead Prince Nymph is one of my all time favorite flies!! It seems to catch trout everywhere I go. In this video, I tied a weighted beadhead version of the classic Prince Nymph. This version makes a great lead fly and the added weight really helps the fly get down in fast water. I prefer to tie my Prince Nymphs with red thread, but black thread also works just fine. I also tie this Prince with Brown Hackle, but Partridge is another one of my favorite materials to use on this fly. Both work just fine. A MUST have fly in any fly box. Both professionals and beginners swear by the Prince. When you don't know what to use in trout country....just tie on a Prince!!
