Dry Emerger
The Dry Emerger is a great little mayfly pattern! Designed to sit in the surface film and imitate a emerging mayfly dry. The Dry Emerger can be tied in both a Baetis and a PMD color. Both are very effective. The Dry Emerger is one of my favorite dry patterns when those fish are being extra finicky and sipping small Baetis in the film. These fish will usually refuse a traditionally hackled dry fly, but not the dry emerger! This fly has saved the day for me on several occasions and is a must have in your mayfly box!!
