Mohican Mayfly
The Mohican Mayfly is a very realistic fly pattern created by Oliver Edwards. The Mohican Mayfly can be tied in may color variations, with Olive, Tan and Cream being the most popular colors. The Mohican Mayfly extended body can later be colored with markers to imitate specific mayfly species. The Mohican Mayfly is moderately difficult pattern to tie and must be tied in 2 stages. The body is first tied on a needle and then transferred to the hook. But it is a lot of fun to tie and try to master!
