Spanish Bullet
In this video, we will be tying the Spanish Bullet Nymph. This is a great Euro style fly and is super effective on very selective trout in broken water. The Spanish Bullet is best tied in sizes #14-16 (although I tied a #10 in this video, so you can see what I am doing easier). The stripped peacock herl is the signature on this fly and does a great job imitating a small mayfly nymph. The thorax color can be changed to whatever color you desire, but black is my favorite. A great fly even fished on a standard nymph rig, and a must have in any fly box!
