Tron Emerger

The Tron Emerger is a simple and extremely effective mayfly emerger/nymph pattern. The Tron Emerger can be tied in several color variations with Olive, Brown and Black being the most effective colors. The Tron Emerger is tied entirely with one material called Zlon (or Antron as a substitute). As this material is twisted to make the body and thorax, it develops beautiful segmentation and semi-translucense. This is the key to the pattern and it is very deadly on picky trout!!

Hook: #14-18 Daiichi 1560
Thread: Olive 12/0 Veevus or 8/0 UNI
Tail: Olive Zlon or Antron Yarn
Body: Olive Zlon or Antron Yarn
Thorax: Olive Zlon or Antron Yarn
Casing: Olive Zlon or Antron Yarn
Legs: Olive Zlon or Antron Yarn
