BDE Mayfly

The BDE is a great mayfly dry fly pattern developed by Ben Furimsky. The BDE can be tied in several color variations to imitate specific mayfly species. The BDE is a EASY extended body mayfly pattern. Many extended body patterns are frustrating and difficult to tie...but this one is not!! The superglue adds the magic and binds the tailing material together....making a perfect mayfly body!

Hackle: Grizzly Whiting High and Dry Rooster Cape

Wing/Head: Gray Sparkle Emerger Yarn or McFlylon
