Foam Bass Popper
In this video, we tie a simple Foam Bass Popper. Foam Poppers are much lighter, float higher and pop better than the painted or lacquered poppers. I actually prefer to fish with foam poppers over the "fancy" painted poppers. Don't get me wrong, I love fancy poppers. They look amazing and are really fun to tie, but there is no doubt in my mind that simple foam poppers are just as effective (if not more effective). These simple Foam Poppers can be used for Largemouth Bass, Smallmouth Bass, Pike, Musky, Wipers, Striped Bass, Peacock Bass and any other aggressive freshwater fish. Foam poppers are always in my warmwater box!
